China-Vatican talks to resume with new negotiators. Slow process of discussion creates disinterest, rumors and speculation
China and the Vatican have both changed at least one of their envoys as negotiations on bishop appointments on the mainland drag on, inviting speculation and rumors along the way. Following the latest talks in March, according to official sources, China replaced Guo Wei, former head of Division Two at the State Administration for Religious Affairs (SARA) responsible for Christian affairs, with Dai Chenjing another top SARA official.
